Shawn Crucil

President

Shawn oversees all of FMI’s activities, reviews of day-to-day operations and ensures program quality, safety and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards, controls, systems and procedures. Shawn is responsible for the daily operations of all projects and tactical activities according to policy, procedures and contractual requirements. With nearly 20 years of experience, he ensures project site activities are safe and productive and that operations maintain efficiency to deliver a quality product to the client.

As a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician, Shawn mentors/coordinates Site Supervisors on project requirements, provides technical support and monitors each project schedule from kick-off through to completion.

Don Bayda

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Don is responsible for directing and providing leadership for our company’s growth; ensuring that the company continues to develop and sustain superior performance, a dynamic safety culture, quality initiatives and solid integrity. Don oversees the company’s day-to-day operating activities that include revenue and sales growth, cost and margin control with monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management.

Don received his Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering in 1994 at the University of Alberta. He also completed his Construction Industry Institute Project Management: Planning & Design and Project Construction & Start up in 2003 at the University of Texas at Austin.

Mike Crucil

Chairman of the Board

Mike Crucil has helped establish what FMI is today. He provides leadership and guidance for the FMI management team. He oversees the corporate business model, upper management, key business strategies and initiatives for shaping the future of the business.

Mike holds a Certificate of Apprenticeship in Electrical Work and a Certificate of Qualification as Electrician. He serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Electrical Contractors Association of BC and as Chair of the Vancouver Island University Professional Advisory Committee.

Daryl Wood

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Daryl, together with the management team, is responsible for driving the Company’s financial performance. In this role he oversees all finance and related administrative functions. Reporting to the Board of Directors, his responsibilities also include strategic planning, risk management and corporate secretary functions.

Daryl is a BBA and MBA graduate of Wilfrid Laurier and the University of Windsor respectively. He has held senior management positions at several leading corporations including FedEx Canada, the Toronto Stock Exchange Regulation Services and Shred-it.
