The Glenannan Substation is part of the Circuit Breaker Replacement Program. Located near Prince George, BC. Work for the 138 kV oil circuit breaker replacement program at Glenannan Substation included all civil, structural, electrical and protection & control.  Work for the project consisted of the installation of equipment to replace four circuit breakers and associated equipment. 

Scope:

• Install new SF6 circuit breakers, associated buswork, cabling, and wooden access platforms.
• Install one new set of three surge arresters. The existing bus work will be modified to accommodate the new surge arrestors.
• Install above and below grade grounding conductors and connections to equipment, structures, etc. and to the existing below grade ground system.
