The Edmonton Fuel Facilities Corporation (EFFC) needed to expand the fuel storage facilities at the Edmonton Airport and FMI was awarded the construction of the new #4 tank as part of the EFFC tank farm expansion project. FMI completed the tank construction from the floor up, including nozzles, internal piping, external stairs and hydro testing of the tank. Tank #4 is a 13.7 meter diameter, 10.9 meter high steel tank that has a capacity of over 1.6 Million liters of fuel.
