Located 67 km south of Brooks, Alberta, the exisiting Enchant substation needed a new 138/25kV 25/33/42 MVA LTC transformer. Prior to the work, Enchant had only one 138/25kV 42 MVA LTC transformer and a second tranformer was required to supply the lines in the event of an outage.

Additional work included building a 138 kV rigid bus, installing a new 138 kV circuit breaker with associated switches, and modifying the 25 kV bus for additions of bus tie switch, bus PT, SST and AMI

Work started in April 2014 and was completed in November 2014
